We are currently hiring for a dedicated Full Time Weekend Shift Nurse Supervisor (RN/LPN) who is committed to helping us continue our mission of providing Seniors a home in the Heart of Christ. The Weekend Shift Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of resident care through the nursing processes: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, and is also responsible for coordinating and managing staffing and scheduling requirements under the direction of the On-Call Nurse Manager. Successful candidates will have strong clinical and people management skills, enjoy solving problems with comprehensive and proactive approaches, with a willingness to partner with the Director of Nursing and the Carmelite Sisters in delivering quality care and adhering to safety protocols.
•Every Saturday and Sunday 6:45 a.m.-11:15 p.m.
•Every Tuesday from 6:45 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience:
•Current LPN/RN licensure, in good standing, in Missouri.
•Previous Supervisor experience required.
•Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
•Strong Communication Skills both written and verbal.
•Strong Interpersonal Skills.
•Ability to handle and diffuse conflict effectively.
•Ability to prioritize, multi-task, manage time, and organize the daily schedule to meet productivity standards.
•A willingness to learn and grow as a nurse leader.
•A kind and caring attitude and the ability to work well with others.
•Proficient in working with computers, faxes and other forms of technology.
•Commitment to providing exceptional patient care, under the ministry of the Carmelite Sisters.
•Ability to effectively communicate to and with others staff, family members, and residents, in a manner that is always professional and kind.
•Must have reliable transportation.
•CPR and AED Certified.
