Nursing Faculty Positions

The University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) College of Nursing invites applications for full-time tenured/tenure track, non-tenured teaching track and Nurse Practitioner faculty positions. • Adult/Gero Nurse Practitioner
• Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
• Non Tenure Teaching Track Position with a focus on: Community Health, Maternal-Child Health, Informatics and Gerontology
• Tenured/Tenure Track positions with a focus on: Health Care Systems and Policy, Health Informatics, Statistical Analysis and Population Health.

All faculty positions require
• Ability to contribute to the development, evaluation, and enhancement of academic programs.
• Ability to contribute to the mission and strategic priorities of the College of Nursing.
• Open to development and use of innovative instructional strategies and technology.
• Commitment to effective dissemination of research and translating research into practice and education.
• Demonstrated knowledge in field of expertise.
• Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary issues in nursing and healthcare.

Required Tenured/tenure track position qualifications:
Ability to establish or advance an extramurally funded program of research
Earned doctorate in nursing or a related field with a graduate degree in nursing

Required Nurse Practitioner position qualifications:
Earned doctorate in nursing or a related field with a graduate degree in nursing
Recognition as an APRN in Missouri in area of NP practice

Required Non Tenure Track Teaching position qualifications:
Graduate degree in nursing, doctorate preferred
Evidence of a program of clinical scholarship or research

Salary and rank are competitive and dependent upon qualifications.
