Brooking Park is seeking to hire a passionate and creative individual to join our team as a part-time Music Therapist for our upscale retirement living facility. The ideal candidate will enrich the lives of others through music therapy and mental activities.
Responsibilities include but not limited to, planning, organizing and implementation of individual and group music therapy sessions with residents. Working in accordance with established policies and procedures, this position will report to the Activities Director. Hours are: Monday – Wednesday, 8am-4:30pm. Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Requires a Bachelor’s in Music Therapy, preferably Board Certification as a Music Therapist. Hospice, Palliative Care Music, and previous experience with geriatrics/terminally ill patients and families are a plus.
