Faculty at Research College of Nursing support the College’s mission of teaching excellence and are committed to the success of our students. This involves teaching effectiveness; scholarly activities; and college, professional, and community service. During the contract period of employment, faculty members are expected to be available to assist and work with students, attend required college events, and respond to college needs. Faculty rank is initially assigned based on education and experience. All individuals with faculty rank have the responsibility to uphold the Mission and Values of the College and comply with policies and procedures in the Faculty Handbook.
1. Master of science in nursing;
2. An unencumbered Missouri RN license, and eligible for Kansas licensure;
3. Certification as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner.
1. Doctoral degree in nursing or related field;
2. Dual certification as a family nurse practitioner;
3. Experience in academia.
