Program: Registration 8:30 a.m., Program 9 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Purpose: To provide the necessary knowledge to recognize the signs and symptoms of early sepsis in the patient population that they care for and to decide if a tool/protocol would be useful in reaching this goal.
Objectives:
- Identify early signs and symptoms of sepsis.
- Develop an understanding of potential symptom misidentification in the elderly.
- Identify appropriate early interventions.
