Program: Registration 8:30 a.m., Program 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Lunch 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.
Purpose: A majority of long term care caregivers report they experience significant stress, anxiety and burnout on a regular basis at work. Our direct care employees are the face of long term care every day for hundreds of thousands of residents and families. This session is directed at all of our nurses, nurse aides, activity staff, and all of their supervisors. We will address stress management, burnout, anxiety relief, employee recognition and many other related factors. We will be using humor to provide proven strategies on all of these topics.
- Identify all the major factors in addressing and reducing stress, burnout and anxiety in their lives.
- Identify the factors that do and do NOT work in employee recognition.
- Breathe a little more slowly and admit it was good to recharge our spirits for a day.
