Continuing Education

  

CE Approval                                                                                                                 

The MLN serves a variety of health care disciplines. We offer continuing education for the following disciplines:

  

ACTIVITY DIRECTOR (AD):  May meet the requirements of the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals.

CERTIFIED CASE MANAGER (CCM):  Credits may be procured/sponsored by the Case Management Society of St. Louis for membership.  You must contact Colleen Cashner at CMSS, cashner2739@att.net, 60 days prior to start of workshop to insure credit has been approved.  Proof of Case Management Society of St. Louis membership required in order to receive CCM credit and certificate.

DIETARY MANAGER (DM):  May be approved by the Certifying Board of Dietary Managers. 

 

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN):  Approved by the MissouriState Association of Licensed Practical Nurses.

 

MASSAGE THERAPIST (MT):  May meet the requirements of the Missouri Board for Massage Therapy.

 

NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR ((NHA A) (ADMINISTRATIVE)):  Approved for administrative clock hours by the Missouri Board of Nursing Home Administrators through TA #044-711. 

 

NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR ((NHA PC) (PATIENT CARE)):  Approved for patient care clock hours by the Missouri Board of Nursing Home Administrators through TA #044-711.   

 

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT):  May meet the requirements of the Missouri Board of Occupational Therapy.

 

PHYSICAL THERAPIST (PT):  May meet the requirements of the Missouri Advisory Commission for Professional Physical Therapists.

 

REGISTERED DIETITIAN/REGISTERED DIETETIC TECHNICIAN (RD/DTR):  May be approved for CPE hours by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of ADA. 

 

REGISTERED NURSE (RN): 

 

The Missouri League for Nursing, Inc., is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Missouri Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the AmericanNursesCredentialingCenter's Commission on Accreditation.

 

MONA Provider Approval #113-VI

RECIPROCITY: This approval is reciprocal in all states and for all specialty organizations that recognize the ANCC approval process. Please contact your State Board of Nursing if licensed in states other than Missouri to ensure that this program meets the requirements for your state.

 

SOCIAL WORKER (SW):  May meet the requirements of the State Committee for Social Workers.
